Research
Market opportunities and customer needs drive PDC research. For us, research is a practical process, not an academic exercise. Research is a critical step in moving from a need or problem articulated by the customer to, ultimately, a product that works – and that also has the goal of setting new industry performance standards.
Research involves thinking creatively about the challenge and potential solutions while evaluating and accounting for all the related hurdles. The result of the research process at PDC is one – or, more commonly, several – alternatives we propose to the customer. Once we agree on the approach, we move to the next levels: design, engineering, simulation, prototype manufacturing, and testing.
As with every service we provide, our goal is always to increase our tools’ performance and longevity.
