Position Objective: The Journeyperson Millwright is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing Precise Drilling Components’ (PDC) equipment including CNC Machinery to mitigate the risk of equipment failure. This position is safety-sensitive.

- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
- Read diagrams, schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures.
- Operate rigging equipment to place heavy machinery and parts.
- Assemble machinery and equipment before installation using hand and power tools, and welding equipment to ensure proper bearing fits, gear alignments and shafts to precise tolerances.
- Develop and lead PDC preventative maintenance programs for all equipment in alignment with safety and machinery standards. Conduct maintenance work planning, scheduling and executing improvement initiatives.
- Be the first point of contact with management when equipment goes down. Align and test equipment making any necessary adjustments. Repair or replace defective parts.
- Perform predictive and operational procedures.
- Construct foundations for machinery or direct other workers to construct foundations.
- Conduct basic machine shop and welding duties.
- Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Journeyperson Millwright Certification with 4-7 years of trades experience.
- Experience with routine maintenance operations of CNC equipment in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a team-oriented diverse working environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards related to equipment reliability, safety and risk management.
- Knowledge in equipment failure investigation and root cause determination.
- Ability to use precision measurement tools and testing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or touch, talk or hear, and stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. Regularly one must reach above shoulders and occasionally use foot/feet to operate the machine and climb or balance.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds with assistance.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus and depth perception.
